Jim Major has served on the Woodbridge Township Council for seven years. His vision, dedication and leadership are demonstrated in the accomplishments that Jim has achieved.
The scope of Jim's work includes the town wide Vision meetings, enacting tough ordinances for property maintanence and working diligently with Mayor John McCormac and the Code Enforcement Task Force resulting in over 2,900 violations issued.
Jim has stopped urban sprawl and overdevelopment in Iselin and worked to have the property adjacent to School #18 as open, green space. Quality of Life initiatives include improved traffic on Middlesex Essex Turnpike and Gill Lane, Metropark Train Station and related pedestrian access improvements and lighted crosswalks for our school children. Jim has kept his promise to be accessible and to work with residents to improve our beloved Iselin and Menlo Park Terrace communities. Jim is always available at his cell (732) 947-0875.
